Synopsis
For eight years, a wife has stood beside Elliot Graves, a mafia drug lord in NYC. On their wedding anniversary, her best friend Lila sends her a photo: Lila on a sofa with a wine glass, her son Owen curled beside her, and Elliot’s hand resting on Lila’s thigh. She replies with two words, then pulls out divorce papers she has kept in a drawer for years.
Elliot storms in, furious that she mocks Lila, while Owen shoves her leg and says he wishes Miss Lila were his real mommy. Elliot insists he was only visiting Lila, whose parents died in a gunfight, and calls his wife selfish. She tells him she has already signed the last page.
Long ago, Lila claimed she was lured to a VIP room and blamed her, though she was elsewhere; Lila’s parents were murdered, and Elliot poisoned Owen against her. Now she is done being the villain.
