His love wasn’t empty words

Ella and Chloe are best friends whose boyfriends could not be more different. Chloe receives money, travel plans, and a man who shows up in person; Ella receives only the same two words, "Got it." When both women discover they are pregnant, Chloe's boyfriend Ethan rushes to her side, and Ella finally sees him clearly: Ethan is the man she secretly married seven years ago.

At the hospital, Ethan plays the devoted husband to Chloe, asking the doctor question after question, while Ella is told her progesterone is low and she needs bed rest. She tells the doctor the baby has no father and that they are divorced. In the car, Chloe innocently recounts how Ethan once chased a girl who cut ties with her parents for him, not knowing that girl was Ella.

Ethan corners Ella at her door, begging her to keep silent because Chloe is pregnant, then Chloe sees them and slaps Ella, calling her shameless. The next day Chloe's parents, Jack and Athena, demand Ella apologize in front of the whole office.
