I Refuse to Be Your Luna

Five years ago, I lost my vision.

Everyone believed no Alpha would stay with a blind mate. But my husband did. Alpha Rowan Ashcroft never left me.

“You’re mine, Lillian,” he vowed. “I’ll be your eyes. Only you.”

He loved me, protected me, and hid me away in a glass house where I never had to face the pack’s pity. I believed him.

Until five days ago... he disappeared.

I went to the pack station, trembling. “My husband, Rowan Ashcroft, is missing. Please help me.”

“Your name?”

“Luna Lillian Ashcroft.”

“Blind girl... don’t pretend to be her!”

The screen lit up.

My husband stood there, smiling, with another woman in his arms.

“My mate,” he said.

Celeste Arden.

Then I learned the truth.

“I had her replace Lillian,” Rowan confessed. “The elders wouldn’t accept a blind Luna.”

“And now?”

“Celeste’s pregnant.”

While I lived in darkness, another woman became me and carried his child.

“She’ll never know,” they said. “She can’t even see.”

But now I can.

I saw everything.

So I burned every memory and walked away. If he could replace me once, I would disappear by my own choice.
