I Toasted to My Husband and His First Love

Audrey discovers that her husband Julian spent the night at his first love Clara's apartment after their high school reunion, and Clara posted a photo of him sleeping on Instagram with old friends congratulating them. Audrey comments that they are a match made in heaven and offers to buy champagne for the wedding. When Julian confronts her, he insists they are just friends and demands she delete the comment, but Audrey refuses and serves him divorce papers.

Julian dismisses her as jealous and petty, throwing the papers to the floor. Long before this, Audrey had seen his Snapchat posts calling Clara the one that got away and his savior, while his marriage felt flat. She had tried to win him back with gifts, but his heart stayed with Clara.

After Julian slams the bedroom door, Audrey collapses on the sofa, then nausea drives her to the bathroom. A pregnancy test shows two lines. Hoping a baby might rebuild their marriage, she tells Julian, but panic flashes across his face as he grips the doorframe in silence.
