Proposed for Revenge

For five years, Chloe has secretly funded Luke's failing company, and on the eve of its IPO he finally proposes. Then she finds his messages: he is marrying her only to make his first love, Seraphina, jealous, and plans to break up with her once Seraphina returns from abroad. Chloe calls her doting father to pull all the investments from Luke's company, though she insists on handling Luke herself.

At the bar where Luke is brawling, she sees him with his arm around Seraphina, who wears the emerald bracelet Chloe once believed was meant for her wedding. Luke denies his engagement, calls Chloe a mere colleague, and forgets her alcohol allergy, while Seraphina calmly lists all his habits. Watching them, Chloe lets her last hope shatter.

After nine years of loving him, she must decide how far her revenge will go.
