The Wedding I Planned Was For Him And A Different Bride

For seven years, Natalie has cared for her fiancé Ethan Carter's younger sister Lily, who has an intellectual disability, and treated his parents as her own family. She even used her parents' connections to help Ethan's career and to secure a transfer for her best friend Chloe Wilson. The night before her wedding, Lily is rushed to the hospital with a high fever, and Ethan tells Natalie the ceremony must be postponed.

The next morning, Lily innocently shows her a wedding broadcast on her tablet: Ethan is exchanging vows with Maya Harrington, in the very ballroom Natalie booked, wearing the suit she chose. Chloe is there as a bridesmaid, and Ethan's mother welcomes the bride. Then Natalie discovers the family group chat she was in was only made to manage what she saw; the Carters' real chat reveals the fever was deliberately caused to lure her away, and that Lily was used for years to keep her occupied while Ethan met Maya.

Natalie decides to take Lily to the wedding, to see for herself what became of the ceremony she planned with her own hands.
