When He Left Me For Dead, I Found Love Again

As I approached the door,my heart swelled with excitement to see Tristan,my fiancé.

Just two days ago,I had risked my life to save his, shielding him from a brutal ambush by rogue wolves.

But now,as I overheard his conversation with our friends,my world came crashing down.

"So,Tristan,"my stepsister Kaylee asked,"you and Dahlia are finally going to tie the knot tomorrow for real?"

Tristan's response cut me to the core:"You know why I'm doing it,Kaylee. The moon goddess gave an ordinary omega like Dahlia healing abilities she didn't even deserve. And I need those abilities for the pack."

Tristan didn't love me for who I was,but for the power I possessed.

When there was a fire,Tristan had chosen to save Kaylee,my stepsister, instead of me.He even forced me to heal her almost killing me.

That's when I'd made the decision to fake my own death,to start anew. But little did I know,Tristan would realize his mistake and spend every waking moment trying to get me back.He searched for me desperately, but I was long gone.

I'd found another Alpha, one who loved me for who I was.
