I Lost Everything, but My Alpha Shows Me the Way

Tavian’s final birthday wish was painfully modest—he wanted nothing more than for the three of us to celebrate as a family. Yet Alpha Ronan, my fated mate and the ruler of the Kairo Pack, had never shown love to either me or our son. After endless begging, he finally agreed to attend, though without warmth or sincerity.

But when the night arrived, Ronan never came. Instead, it became the night my son drew his final breath, his last wish left cruelly unanswered.

I arranged Tavian’s funeral by myself, carrying grief so heavy it nearly broke me. It was only afterward that I learned the truth: while his son lay dying, Ronan had been with my sister, Lilith, basking in the snowy mountains beyond our pack’s borders.

Once I knew, I gathered my things and left without tears or hesitation.

Only then did the Alpha chase after me—begging, apologizing, and pleading for forgiveness he had already forfeited.
