Synopsis
Tara joins her fiancé Joshua Renfrow and their friends on a final trip before the wedding, a trip she planned and paid for herself. On the first night, her best friend Vera Lambert proposes a game called the 24-Hour Couple Challenge, and round after round, Tara draws a blank while Joshua and Vera draw matching symbols and act like a couple.
When the group stages a mock wedding, Joshua slips Tara's engagement ring onto Vera's finger, and the others insist the pair share a suite while Tara sleeps on a pullout couch outside. Only then does Tara open the card box and find every card inside blank, while Joshua's and Vera's boxes are full of matching moons, roses and wedding dresses. The game was rigged from the start.
Tara quietly deletes the wedding invitations she had prepared, but Joshua tells her to smile for a photo, and she is left holding the camera, absent from every shot.
