Reborn: Romance in the Apocalypse

At the end of the world, evacuation seats are scarce. In her first life, Zayla's fiancé Oliver pulled her onto the rescue vehicle and left his first love, Lina, to the undead. Lina died, and Oliver married Zayla only to punish her for it, tormenting her for five years until he threw them both into the swarm on the day their divorce was finalized.

Zayla wakes again on the day the apocalypse began. When the rescue worker shouts for one more passenger, she steps back and gives the last seat to Lina, refusing to let history repeat itself. As the convoy vanishes, she sets out alone for the safe zone, climbing a steep mountain path where the undead cannot follow.

Halfway up, the rain comes, the rock shifts, and she falls—caught by a stranger's arm before she can hit the ground.
