Reborn Together, Abandoned Alone

Iris and her husband Leo are reborn on the eve of their fifth-anniversary trip, and both remember the flight that went down over the Caspian Sea. But when Iris overhears Leo on the phone with Stella, his childhood sweetheart, she learns he has chosen differently this time: he calls Stella the regret he cannot live with and quietly reschedules his own flight, urging Iris to travel alone.

On the way to the airport he hides his phone, and the tablet Iris takes from his study reveals the rest — five-hour calls, plans for a wedding and a divorce, deleted photos of her. At the gate she boards, then walks back off, telling the crew she has a sudden fear of flying.

She waits three hours in the terminal, watching Leo's messages to Stella, and returns to the old house where their marriage began. Reborn, she no longer knows whether the plane will crash again — or what Leo is truly waiting for.
