Rejected My Alpha, Claimed by a Ruthless King

Evelyn Blackwood is a rare Healer and the future Luna of her pack, bound to Alpha Blake Drake since the Pairing Ball. A month before their binding ceremony, she flies to New York to surprise him and finds him in bed with her best friend, Vanessa. She records everything, rejects the bond, and walks away.

At a dive bar, a suffocating Alpha command clears the room. A towering stranger with violet-gold eyes calls her his mate, and the night that follows leaves her marked and fleeing his penthouse at dawn. He orders his men to watch her every move.

Back home, Blake demands to know why she smells of another Alpha. Then guards deliver couture, jewelry, shares in a Blackwood subsidiary, and a card promising to bring her home in three days. Evelyn answers Blake with a threat: the video is on a timer, and she wants every share. Vanessa then collapses into Blake's arms, and he admits she is carrying his pup.
