"Why do you smell like another Alpha?"
I’d just stepped into the dining room when Blake glared at me from the head of the table.
I ignored him and sat down for dinner.
Suddenly, the butler hurried in.
"Miss, there are packages for you."
A fleet of uniformed guards began carrying boxes into the hall.
Limited edition couture, high-end jewelry, designer bags.
And a folder, shares of a Blackwood subsidiary being transferred to my name.
There was a handwritten card.
“The night was exquisite. In three days, I'm bringing you home.”
My one-night stand was clearly a player. I rubbed my face, speechless.
Blake gripped his wine glass so hard I thought it would shatter.
"Are you going to explain this?" he spat through gritted teeth.
I looked him in the eye.
"I already sent that video to every member of the board's inbox."
"You bitch!"
