The Dark Dragon Only Kneels for Me

"At the graduation ceremony, everyone waits for Silas, the White Tiger Alpha, to seal the bond with me. Instead, he walks past me and kneels before the pure Saintess. Eighteen years of promises—gone.

Then the weakest snake shifter in the Academy, the one everyone threw away, steps forward. Cold forehead pressed into my palm, red slit pupils full of fear.

""No one wants me. You don't have a Guardian either. Can we… try?""

I say yes.

When the Dark Surge swallows the royal city, Silas crawls at my feet, begging me to save his shattered beast core. But high above the city walls, my useless little snake evolves into the noble Dark Dragon—and only wants me."
