Barrage Reverses My Marriage

When Jessica jilts David Hawthorne at the altar, calling him a fake heir, her sister Jenna steps forward and offers to marry him instead. That day Jenna becomes Mrs. Hawthorne, and strange glowing messages begin appearing before her eyes, hinting that David is the true heir and that in forty days old Mr. Hawthorne will bring him home.

David's cramped basement apartment holds little more than a single container of takeout and a two-million-dollar debt. Jenna quietly shares the food, cooks for them both, and eventually transfers him every dollar she has, insisting that a married couple is a team. He returns the money, unwilling to be supported by his wife.

Jessica mocks Jenna for choosing poverty, but Jenna has seen the countdown. With forty days to secure her place, she sets out to prove which sister deserves the good life.
