For First Love, My Boyfriend is Willing to Let Me be Bullied

When Thomas's childhood friend Olivia provokes a gang of hooligans outside a karaoke bar, Thomas grabs Olivia and runs, leaving his girlfriend Maya behind. Maya is dragged into a room and harassed, and it is other guests who call the police. When Thomas finally returns, he blames Maya for not keeping up, and Olivia paints herself as the frightened victim.

At home, Thomas tries to buy Maya's forgiveness with red envelopes and apologies, but she pushes him away. Olivia posts a photo of Thomas's hand holding a storybook, and his friends mock Maya as a lapdog. When Thomas deletes her comments and demands she apologize, Maya ends the relationship and moves out.

Throwing herself into work, Maya learns her company, Gallance, is bidding against Olivia's firm, Astion Building Materials, for a deal with Bay Real Estate, run by Thomas's uncle Marlon. In the restroom, Olivia slaps herself and calls Thomas, who threatens Gallance's chances unless Maya apologizes. Maya hesitates only three seconds before slapping Olivia back.
