My Greedy Roommate Stole A Million Dollars

When a million dollars lands in her roommate Samantha's bank account, Chloe recognizes the day she has already lived once. In that first life, she warned Samantha it might be a scam; the money was returned, and Samantha, certain Chloe had snitched, pushed her off the sixth-floor balcony. Now Chloe wakes on the very morning of the transfer, and this time she offers no sensible advice. Instead she plays the dazzled admirer, feeding Samantha's greed while Lily and Mia look on, baffled.

Samantha spends freely, invents a rich aunt, and grows bolder about helping herself to everyone's things, promising grand replacements she never buys. Chloe says nothing, letting the roommates' patience burn down to Mia's ultimatum. The money is still in the account, its sender unknown, and Samantha believes she can handle it alone.
