When the Fog Clears, No One Loves You

Delilah Fox's daughter Cassie is in the ICU with pulmonary edema, and the baby she carries is lost too. While she drives through a hurricane to the hospital, her husband Sean posts another woman's ultrasound in the family group chat and tells Delilah to leave the group. When she asks him to come to the hospital, he dismisses her and defends Myra, the woman he calls his sister.

Sean left Cassie alone at the beach, and the lifeguard's many calls went unanswered while he was with Myra. Delilah asks for a divorce, but Sean mocks her job as a scheduling clerk and her pregnancy, asking what she would do without him.

When Myra knocks, frightened about her own baby, Sean carries her out without a backward glance. Alone, Delilah opens his laptop and finds a folder of photos, tickets and chat logs from ten years with Myra, and a note promising to always be her safety net. Delilah closes the file and drives to the company.
