The Neglected Luna: Tangled in Fate, Freed by Love

Jasper Frost was supposed to be my fated mate, but for five years, he never made our bond official. And every time, it was the same story—he’d drop everything for Briana Wilde, his precious childhood friend as if she were his true mate, not me. I kept quiet, convincing myself it was out of love for him. But the final blow came on our mating ceremony day. Briana fainted—classic drama queen—and Jasper abandoned me at the altar without a second thought to rush to her side. He didn’t just walk away from our ceremony; he walked away from us.

What cut the deepest wasn’t that he left me standing there—it was how little our bond seemed to matter to him.

“Goddess, Daphne, when are you going to stop being childish? I’ve told you a million times—Briana is like a sister to me! We can reschedule the ceremony anytime. Why are you so stuck on this?”

Why? Because I was done being second to someone who wasn’t even his mate.
